How can we pass on our faith to children and grandchildren? How can we help children learn and enjoy the inspiring music or our faith? These were the questions guiding musicians and coordinators through the development of a new recording in the Hymnal Masterworks series. Featuring 16 hymns and songs from Hymnal: A Worship Book, the recording includes both adult and children's voices and a variety of instrumentation. Old favorites, such as "Gott ist die Liebe" ("For God so Loved Us") and "Praise to the Lord" combine with newer selections such as "And I will Raise You Up" and "Je Louerai l'eternel" ("Praise, I Will Praise You Lord") to provide a wide range of styles and themes.

This sequel follows the popular first volume, acclaimed as an excellent resource to help families and children celebrate the gifts of Hymnal: A Worship Book. Seventeen artistic arrangements of music drawn from the popular Hymnal: A Worship Book bring new life and beauty to hymns that represent the church year. The Deknatel Consort features the following artists: Lorraine Miller, flute/piccolo; Donald Kehrberg, oboe/English horn; Marty Hodel, trumpet; Rachel Dirks, cello; and Shirley Sprunger King, organ. Beautifully recorded, this collection is a true celebration of the hymn as art!

The seventh recording in the Hymnal Masterworks series. Let All Who Thirst: Hymns for Piano is performed by pianist Lucia Unrau and arranged and produced by her husband Peter Terry. The recording features adaptations of 14 hymns from Hymnal: A Worship Book, including "I am the Bread of life," "O healing river," "What wondrous love is this," "All hail the power of Jesus' name," and "Be thou my vision." Unrau and Terry are both on the faculty at Bluffton College, Bluffton, Ohio, where Unrau is Professor of Music and Terry is Director of Instructional Technology.

Let All Who Thirst continues the tradition of the Hymnal Masterworks series, highlighting the importance of the hymn as a means of religious expression in Anabaptist denominations. All hymns featured on the recordings are taken from Hymnal: A Worship Book.

Let All Who Thirst grew out of the joy Unrau and Terry have experienced in sharing hymn adaptations with their family, friends, and church community. They are parents of three young children. According to the artists, the recording is an expression of "the power of the hymns and their ability to nurture and inspire us."

Christmas Sampler features your favorite Christmas carols from around the world. They are performed using a variety of musical instruments in charming and artistic adaptations. Participating artists are Lucia Unrau, solo piano; Tom Harder, classical guitar; Les Gustafson-Zook, autoharp; Phil Hawkins, Steel drums, and the Bethel College Mennonite Church Chancel Bells.
