Singing: A Mennonite Voice, a collection of stories and reflections gathered from ordinary Mennonite worshipers throughout North America, is a love song for this rich musical tradition. The scores of interviews show again and again that singing is the Mennonite sacrament. In the absence of a weekly eucharistic tradition, the experience of singing together is the place of convergence where the human and divine meet, community is bound together, and worshipers are renewed to live as God's people in the world.
